The owner, Mariné Hugo - van der Walt's (née Hugo), qualifications and experience after matriculation in Franschhoek are: 

•  Professional Tax Practitioner (SA)
•  Professional Accountant (SA)
•  Membership of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA)  (3 years training at an accounting firm).  SAIPA is a member of the following: ECSAFA, IFAC and Ethics Institute of South Africa.  As a SAIPA member it is compulsory to remain up to date with the latest changes in legislation and tax.  Please visit www.saipa.co.za for more info.
•  BTech: Cost- and Management Accounting (Cum Laude) – 2001
•  National Diploma in Cost- and Management Accounting – 2000
•  3 Years as bookkeeper/financial admin of a fruit export company
•  4 Years as bookkeeper of a retail shop and builder
•  3 Years as Financial Manager/Bookkeeper at an Attorney firm that specialises in debt collection
•  2 Years part-time lecturer at a Business Management school teaching Basic Bookkeeping and Practical Accounting
•  3 Years as Accounting Clerk at a SAIPA Accounting Firm

 Due to her French Huguenot routes she decided to establish the business in her home town in 2010.
